What are your thoughts on this 2010 XC90? She’s got some mileage to be reckoned with, but is she a viable (8-10 year from now) family moose mobile?
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
The lot seems to be one of those buy here pay here, but if the ride is straight and true it’s low enough that it could compensate for the crappy lot. Also could any Volvo backed warranty be purchased on this if I were buying it third party? Or do they require in network Volvo dealers to certify and sell those?

Ha, saw a red XC90 R-Design just like that one on the side of I-40 EB just before the 440 exit about two weeks ago when I was in Nashville.

Lololol, Dickson is just Southwest of Nashville. We may have a confirmed siting.
If we get one of these I think I will be getting it directly from a Volvo dealer or CarMax.

Volvo changed the rule in the last year. You can’t purchase a Volvo extended warranty after the factory one has expired anymore. Only way now is within 6 months of the factory warranty going out.
3.2 are ok..... the whole READ gear while very very rarely has issues, a scary item to have issues with. Besides that, A/C compressors are not very good on 3.2 engines. About $820 just for the unit. Those seats stain very easily also.
Still, that is one radtastical XC90!!!!!!! I looks insanely good and would be mega jelly if you got this ride. Prancing moose badges would look so good on this :]

I think I may have said this a few times on Oppo and also from a mountaintop down to my people:
I refuse to pay more than $17.5k for a vehicle with over 100k miles. Similarly, I refuse to drive a vehicle with parts bin bits from lesser vehicles.

Also, you need to teach me how to re-write html links into text that I want.

Ford parts bin parts? Pretty sure there will be a few of those FoMoCo stamps on a few parts of that ride.

Here’s the thing though - you don’t have to pay $17.5k for one with over 100k miles
What on a Land Cruiser is parts bin anyway?

not really, but such an odd opposing face accesory drive mechanism. I mean, just try to find the drive belt

Dude that is a 16 year old SUV. It’s almost legally able to buy its own cigarettes.

One owner, 92793 last reported mileage. Everything looked normal with the exception of a minor front end collision reported in it’s first few years. Have a look at it, sounds minor enough that it shouldn’t be an issue. Probably mostly cosmetic and the owner hung on to it for years after.
Accident reported
Involving front impact
with another motor vehicle
Very minor damage reported
Very minor front damage reported
Airbags did not deploy

Nah nothing that important, just transmissions and differentials and stuff like that ;). I serve at a car repair charity with a few ford engineers, one of them is a Volvo fan, so we were joking about it on his car one of the days.

Back 4-5 years ago we picked up an Audi Q7 with 70k on it for less than 17k. I think it was 16k. By far my favorite cuv out there at the time. Drove like a sports car, just taller. It definitely had some vw parts, but it’s all good, interior was a nice place to be. Maybe not Volvo nice, but nice.

Can’t do it dude, and how dare you use Stamos on me.
